ApartmentCollections.com is an independent lead-generation and attorney-referral service. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice or legal representation.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect your name, telephone number, email address, apartment community, disputed charges, collection activity, credit reporting concerns, and information you voluntarily provide about your situation.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use submitted information to process inquiries, identify potential attorney referrals, communicate with you where permitted, maintain records, and operate our service.
3. Information Sharing and Compensation
ApartmentCollections.com may share, transfer, or sell submitted inquiry information to participating attorneys, law firms, intake providers, or referral partners. We may receive compensation for lead-generation, marketing, intake, or referral services, subject to applicable law and professional conduct rules.
4. Telephone and SMS Communications
Submitting an inquiry does not automatically authorize automated marketing calls or text messages. Telephone and SMS authorization is a separate, optional Yes/No selection.
See our SMS and Telephone Communications Disclosure.
5. Information Security
We use safeguards intended to protect submitted information. No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Data Retention
We may retain submitted information for inquiry processing, business records, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance for as long as reasonably necessary.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information. Requests may be subject to verification and legal exceptions. A privacy contact method and any required opt-out mechanism must be made available before relying on this notice for live operations.
8. Independent Attorneys and Third Parties
Attorneys and other independent recipients may have their own privacy practices and legal obligations. Their handling of information may be governed by separate privacy notices.
9. Cookies and Analytics
We may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality, security, or analytics where enabled. Any additional tracking practices must be accurately disclosed.
10. Children's Privacy
Our inquiry service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13.
11. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Submitting an inquiry does not create an attorney-client relationship or guarantee representation. An attorney-client relationship arises only when an attorney agrees to represent you.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Agreement as our practices or applicable legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
